Bill McRoberts
Bill is a Professional Photographer and Digital Artist and instructor. Bill lives in beautiful Haines, Alaska. Bill's favorite photography and digital art is of eagles and bears. Bill feels he is very fortunate that by living in Haines, he has access to both in abundance. The study of their habits and behavior these last couple years has helped his ability to photograph them, immensely. Bill's first camera was a Canon AE1 that he purchased in 1979. Even though he owned his first camera in 1979, he never got completely serious about photography until 2000. His equipment consists of the Canon Cameras 7D, 50D and 40D. He uses each one for different purposes. Bill's lenses include the Canon 28-135mm, 18-55mm, 18-200mm, 75-300mm, 70-200mm, 100-400mm and a Sigma 300-800mm. The combination he uses the most is the Canon 7D with the 70-200mm or the100-400mm lens.
Bill's photographs have been published in the Northwest Travel Magazine, Holland America Cruise Line's onboard hardcover magazine and the Haines Welcome Center Directory. His Digital Art has been and is still displayed in many different formats, from Gallery Art to Paintings for individuals, posters and calendars, etc. Bill does specialize in requests. Bills work is being sold in different stores throughout Alaska. He donates extensively to nonprofits organizations and community fund raisers. In 2010 bill was selected by the American Bald Eagle Foundation to be the Artist of the Year and 2008 Photo of the Year.

Matt Shetzer
Matt's love of nature photography began when he was given his first 35mm SLR in 1986 and he has never looked back. When the camera world moved over to digital, Matt jumped in with both feet. Matt was able to combine his technical computer and software knowledge with his passion for photography and the outdoors, embracing all the new opportunities this technology provides. By blending digital photographic skills we are now able to produce images never thought possible to achieve the creativity we seek. Be remote location or watching wildlife through the lens, always searching for that perfect being an avid outdoorsman, Matt enjoys being outside on a backcountry trail, exploring and finds the subjects very challenging, the images are so rewarding. Today, Matt spends his time capturing images of nature and wildlife, hosting travel photography workshops in some of the most spectacular locales and teaching photography in the classroom. In 2011 one of Matt's images was selected as Photo of the Year by the American Bald Eagle Foundation and another won the “Best of 2010” contest.
Matt states "I look forward to meeting you and sharing my unique knowledge of image capture and processing that will help you improve your photography skills and capture that perfect photo.
