A bald eagle soars through the sky.

Early colonists in America often saw eagles soaring in the clean, clear skies above them. Wherever there were tall trees and lakes or streams there were eagles. Today most Americans have never seen the bald eagle in its natural habitat. The American Bald Eagle Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt Foundation dedicated to the conservation and protection of the bald eagle and its habitat throughout North America. We help to educate each year thousands of visitors that visit our museum in Haines, Alaska. Through the concentrated efforts of many people nationwide, the bald eagle has recently been removed from the list of endangered species.

The Foundation relies on memberships, gift shop sales and generous donations from wonderful people like you to continue this important work. Please support the American Bald Eagle Foundation by becoming a member. We offer several membership levels. All members receive free admission to our museum and a quarterly newsletter. Our latest newsletter is available from the link below for you to download.

If you do not want to become a member, please consider making a tax-deductible donation.
